Question about dying speed with different techniques.

WebI recently did a spin dye and acetone dye is SUPER fast. It takes immediately. But when doing floetrol beds it takes hours at best. My question is how come we can't use acetone on some type of bed that takes this fast as well? I've seen people doing clear glue beds with acetone. Is this the same speed? Can I not use acetone on floetrol? WebI also use heat when I am able, 85-90 degrees on the bed with a space heater. I don't go hotter because I feel it mixes the finer points of the dye bed and makes it "muddy".
