It's pushes up on the follower just as any spring would. My only thing left to test before I will use it as a carry magazine is for it to stand the test of time. WebI have the +1 and the +2 for my 43 and love them both. I haven't had any issues with them in a few hundred rounds of 115gr ball and HST 147gr. The +2 is my primary mag (adds maybe .25“ to the grip) and I run a Vickers +2 as my backup (more than twice the size as the MagGuts, but is more comfortable as a backup in AIWB). WebApr 16, 2024 · I owned a 43 that I put Vickers tactical +2 extension on. Never had any issues but the length was ridiculous for 8 rounds. Finally traded it for a 27. Shorter grip and I don't notice the .2 inch difference in thickness. The extra weight and length also make it easier for me to shoot personally.
