Webb5 apr. 2024 · I missed the MFSW fuse in the fuse box under the hood. That fuse is for the Multiunctioning switch so it definitely makes sense that was the problem. I just thought the only fuses involved were the brake light and turn signal fuses. A blown brake light fuse will allow the signals to work & a blown signal fuse will allow the brake lights to work.

So normally the brake fuse powers the brake lights but when the signal/hazards or maybe just the hazards, not sure about that, are used the MFSW fuse provides power. I put in a new fuse and everything works as should. I have found no shorts in the wiring, but when I hook up the trailer and plug it in it seems the MFSW fuse blows out more often.

I am not sure which device failed first but the pair took out the brake light fuse and the MFSW fuse and subsequently two of the TOAD control board fuses. Long Story: Determined that fuse 2 for brakes and fuse 27 for the MFSW were blown.
