WebI changed mine to sand when I still had only 4 cories. They didnt seem to enjoy or hate it . just kept doing like they did with the fine black gravel. Added in two more corys, and they all seem to be starting to root around in the sand. Im using play sand, and i believe pool filter can be a little finer with more consistent granules.
